Oxygen Forensic® Suite 2013 version 5.3 adds Links & Stats section, device user accounts list, new report layout and more than 30 new features

Oxygen Software updates its flagship mobile forensic product, Oxygen Forensic® Suite 2013, to version 5.3, introducing Links & Stats section, device user accounts summary, support for new applications: Tumblr, TextMe, Ebuddy, Yandex.Maps and more. New version offers importing of Android physical images with EXT and FAT partitions, brings new reporting layout in Microsoft Excel format and extracts passwords from Apple jailbroken devices. 

All registered customers may download the new version immediately from their personal customer area.

New in Oxygen Forensic® Suite 2013 v.5.3:

  • Device information. Added information about all the accounts used by the device owner. The feature is available for iOS and Android OS devices.
  • General. Added import of physical Android image that contains EXT and FAT partitions.
  • General. Added Back and Next buttons to all the sections. They allow to navigate in the program more conveniently.
  • Desktop. Added device data statistics. A number of entries found in each device section is shown near each section.
  • Communication Statistics section is renamed to Links and Stats.
  • Links and Stats. Redesigned table view mode. Added Calls and Messages columns that show the overall amount of calls and messages taken from various devices sections. Added First date and Last date columns that display the dates for the first and last communication.
  • Links and Stats. Added Direct Links tab that allows to build Communications diagram only for the selected contacts.
  • Links and Stats. Added ability to view a list of communications for all or one contact in table view mode with the help of Details button.
  • Aggregated Contacts. Added ability to build Communications diagram for the contacts selected in Aggregated Contacts section. Added Links and Stats button to the Aggregated Contacts toolbar for a quick switch onto Communications diagram.
  • Connection. Added universal driver for Android OS devices. Now any Android OS device can be easily connected to Oxygen Forensic® Suite.
  • Export. Added redesigned Table view XLS export. It became more user-friendly and allows to analyze exported data more conveniently. The old Table view XLS export is renamed to Table view XLS export (old).
  • Search. Added regular expressions library that allows to view regular expressions templates.
  • Passwords. Added ability to extract passwords from jailbroken iOS devices. Previously they were acquired from non-jailbroken iOS devices only.
  • Timeline. Added support for recovered entries (messages and calls). They are shown in the grid with a recycle bin icon.
  • Applications. Social Networks. Added data parsing from Tumblr (3.3.2) for Apple iOS devices and Tumblr (3.3.2) for Android OS devices.
  • Applications. Messengers. Added data parsing from TextMe (2.2.5) and Text Me! 2 (2.2.5) for Apple iOS devices and TextMe (2.0.20) for Android OS devices.
  • Applications. Messengers. Added data parsing from Ebuddy (5.6) for Apple iOS devices and Ebuddy (3.6.0) for Android OS devices.

  • Added support for iTunes 11.0.4.4.
  • Added support for 50+ devices: HTC Desire 600, LG LS975 Optimus G, Nokia Lumia 1020, Philips Xenium W832, Samsung GT-i9190 Galaxy S4 Mini, Samsung SGH-N045 GALAXY S4, Sony Mobile Xperia ZR LTE M36i C5503, ZTE Nubia Z5 mini, etc. The total number of supported devices is 6800.
  • Improved supported for Google Galaxy Nexus, Google Nexus S, Google Nexus 4, Google Nexus 10.
  • Timeline. The data of Relevant contact panel is now taken from Aggregated contacts section, not Phonebook. It allows to obtain the most complete information about the contact.
  • Messages, Event Log, Timeline. If Remote party field is empty in the device database the contact name from Aggregated Contacts is taken.
  • Timeline. Accelerated the section reloading even after the program reboot.
  • Export. Device Information. Added ability to select what data to export from Device Information section. Report settings menu is added to Export button.
  • Export. File Browser. Added ability to include or exclude Google maps and photo thumbnails in/from export. The corresponding options are introduced in Report settings menu.
  • Export. Added bold font for field names for PDF and RTF reports.
  • Search. Percentage of search completion is shown if search is done in big .sqlite and .plist files.
  • Search. Redesigned search progress window.
