Oxygen Forensic® Suite 2015 Recovers Deleted Files, Targets Windows Phone and CDR

Oxygen Forensics releases a major update to its flagship mobile forensic solution, Oxygen Forensic® Suite. New version offers Android file carving, enables support for Call Data Records received from wireless service providers, and acquires data from Windows Phone 8.x JTAG images produced with third-party tools.

All registered customers may download the new version immediately from their personal customer area.

New in Oxygen Forensic® Suite 2015 v.7.0:

  • Oxygen Forensic® Extractor. Added import and data parsing from Windows Phone 8 JTAG images. Forensic experts gain access not only to contacts, messages, calls but also to applications data.
  • File Browser. Now deleted pictures, videos and other files are recovered from Windows Phone 8 JTAG images.
  • File Browser. Added deleted files recovery from physical dumps of Android OS devices. Images,videos, HTML/XML files and SQLite databases are automatically restored.
  • Oxygen Forensic®  Call Data Expert. The new utility allows importing and analyzing call data records received from mobile service providers.
  • Oxygen Forensic®  Call Data Expert. Call Data Records import.The product imports call data records files and helps to conveniently perform field mapping procedure.
  • Oxygen Forensic®  Call Data Expert. Call Data Records analysis. The processed results can be viewed and analyzed afterwards allowing to display direct and indirect links between callers on the graph with the built-in analytics.
  • Oxygen Forensic®  SQLite Viewer. Added opportunity to search through all the database including deleted data blocks. Forensic experts can now find data including dates in Unix Epoch Time, Unix Epoch Time (ms), OS X Epoch Time.
  • Oxygen Forensic®  SQLite Viewer. Added SQL editor to perform SQL query on database tables. The results can be exported to various file formats: XML, HTML, PDF, XLS.
  • Messages. Added Chats view to easily follow conversations between two or more remote parties. The feature is available for iOS devices.
  • Oxygen Forensic® Extractor for Clouds. The new utility allows to import and analyze data from Google account, Apple iCloud, Microsoft Live and other cloud services. The utility is available in Tools menu or from the toolbar on Desktop.
  • Oxygen Forensic® Extractor for Clouds. Added support for Google Location History and Twitter data extraction. Google Location History import allows to see the locations visited by Android OS device user.
  • Oxygen Forensic®  Viewer. The new tool allows to share extracted data with remote experts and view it without live device at hand. The Viewer is available for all Analyst license users in their customer area.
  • Applications. Added Supported applications list to the Help menu. It shows all supported apps, their versions and which data can be extracted. The total number of supported applications is 450+ now.
  • Applications. Finance. Added data parsing from Visa Qiwi Wallet (4.2) from iOS and Visa Qiwi Wallet (2.10.3) from Android OS devices.

  • Organizer. Calendar. Now all extracted calendar types are grouped on the right sidebar according to the account they belong to.
  • Desktop. Now a number of actual and deleted records is shown near every section icon on the Desktop.
  • Desktop. Added new buttons on the right part of the toolbar that help to quickly import SQLite databases, work with call data records or to import cloud data.
  • Oxygen Forensic® Extractor. Added support for 200+ Android OS devices including OnePlus One (A0001) and OnePlus Two (A0002) with a custom version of CyanogenMod. The total number of supported devices exceeds 9000.
  • Oxygen Forensic® Extractor. Added support for iOS 8.1.2.
  • Oxygen Forensic® Extractor. Significantly accelerated speed of data extraction from iOS devices.
