Oxygen Forensic® Detective extracts Android thumbnails and Facebook data from cloud

Oxygen Forensics is pleased to announce an update to its flagship mobile forensic solution, Oxygen Forensic® Detective. We have added new data extraction options to bring forensic examination to the new level. With Facebook data and Android thumbnails extraction added, experts are now able to get more data than ever before, while data extraction via MTP protocol considerably facilitates device acquisition and fast files extraction. The updated version Oxygen Forensic® Detective also supports 200+ new Android OS devices to give investigators access to more and more valuable sources of forensic data.  

All registered customers may download the new version immediately from their personal customer area.

New in Oxygen Forensic® Detective v.8.0.2:

  • Oxygen Forensic® Cloud Extractor. Added Facebook data extraction. Using access token forensic experts can extract user profile details, friends list, albums, timeline and messages with their attachments. 
  • Oxygen Forensic® Cloud Extractor. Now extraction logs are saved to OCB file.
  • Oxygen Forensic® Extractor. Added data extraction via MTP protocol. Now fast extraction of files is available for all devices using MTP protocol.  
  • File Browser. Added thumbnails extraction from Android OS devices. Thumbnails can be viewed on Photo Thumbnails tab in the File Browser section. 
  • Applications. Social Networks. Added live and deleted data parsing from Kate Mobile (23.1) from Android OS devices.
  • Applications. Navigation. Added live and deleted contacts parsing from TomTom GPS Navigation Traffic (1.7) from Android OS devices.
  • Applications. Navigation. Added live and deleted data parsing from TomTom Russia (1.21) from iOS devices.
  • Applications. Messengers. Updated live and deleted data parsing from Telegram (all versions) from Android OS devices and from Telegram from iOS devices. 
  • Added support for 200+ new Android OS devices: Asus Memo Pad 7 ME572C (K007), Intex Aqua Trend, Maxwest Astro 6, Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Duos 4G (SM-J110F/DS), Sony Mobile Xperia Z5 Premium Dual (E6883), Toshiba Excite Go (AT7-C8), etc.
