Oxygen Forensic® Suite 7.0 Expands Mobile Application Support

Oxygen Forensics updates its flagship mobile forensic solution, Oxygen Forensic®® Suite, adding support for many popular applications for iOS, Android and Windows Phone platforms. Supporting mobile versions of Tinder, ChatON, eBay, FireChat, Swarm, Tango, TrueCaller, Whisper for both iOS and Android, and Skype, WhatsApp and HERE Maps on the Windows Phone platform, the update catches up with today’s trends in mobile shopping, communications and traveling.

Alexandria, VA - February 05, 2015 - “We are fully committed to maintaining and updating our products”, says Oleg Fedorov, Oxygen CEO. “This update catches up with the latest trends and developments on the mobile market, adding support for a bunch of popular applications with millions of users. Investigators are welcome to request support for additional apps, and we’ll do our best to include them ASAP.”

Supporting a wide range of apps, Oxygen Forensic® Suite is not limited to just messengers, social networking and Web browsing tools. The Suite builds the most complete profile of a suspect by extracting information from financial, booking and travel tools, retrieving tracking data from sports and fitness apps, parsing mail messages and extracting translation histories.

Adding Support for Popular iOS, Android and Windows Phone Apps

Support for the following applications is added for both iOS and Android: Tinder, ChatON, Ebay, FireChat, MeetMe, Swarm, Tango, TrueCaller, Visa Qiwi Wallet, Navitel, and Whisper. In addition, TripAdvisor support is available on the iOS platform.

The Windows Phone platform is gaining popularity on certain markets. The updated Oxygen Forensic®® Suite adds support for core Windows Phone apps including Here Maps, Skype, and WhatsApp.

Mobile applications are constantly updating. Monitoring application updates, figuring out the changes and updating Oxygen Forensic®® Suite is part of Oxygen Forensics’ commitment.

Requesting New App Support Made Easier

The new release makes it easier to request support for a new mobile app not yet recognized by Oxygen Forensic®® Suite. Forensic specialists can now use the “Send request” button to submit an unsupported app to the development team. Oxygen Forensics will do its best to add full data parsing for submitted applications in a timely manner.

Enhanced SQLite Viewer

Oxygen Forensic®® SQLite Viewer gets a boost with fast and convenient searching through the entire database, and enables the ability to quickly find data via SQL queries, save queries to SQL library and export SQL query results to files.

About Oxygen Forensic® Suite 2015

Oxygen Forensic® Suite 2015 helps investigators and forensic specialists access and analyze data from a variety of mobile devices such as cell phones, smartphones, communicators, PDA and tablet PCs. Currently supporting more than 9,000 different models, Oxygen Forensic® Suite 2015 covers the widest range of mobile devices compared to competition, and allows fully automated acquisition and analysis of supported devices.

The unique Timeline feature offers convenient, single-place access to all activities and movements performed by one or several users arranged by date and time. Investigators can track user location at every moment, build and map their historic routes, and clearly see all activities performed by the user at each location.

Another signature feature of Oxygen Forensic® Suite allows investigators to perform a global search on all devices ever analyzed with the toolkit. The global search quickly reveals any connections (e.g. common contacts, exchanged calls, texts or emails) between the phone owners.

Oxygen’s statistical analysis tools allow investigators discover social connections between the users of multiple mobile devices. Calls, text messages and various messengers’ conversations are analyzed to produce charts and tables revealing the users’ closest circle at a glance.

Oxygen Forensic® Suite 2015 guarantees zero-footprint operation, leaving no traces and making no modifications to the content of the devices. This makes it the tool of choice among government and law enforcement agencies, security services, and forensic organizations in more than fifty countries.
